Elementary School
Grades 1st-5th Grade
Highlands Christian Academy’s elementary division offers a 1st through 5th grade program that is academically challenging as well as developmentally and socially nurturing. Students benefit from a well planned, individualized, and measured progression of achievement in the core subjects, as well as the opportunity to excel in advanced math and reading programs. Instruction in science, social studies, Spanish, computer technology and music, the visual arts, physical education, and character development is also included in our lower school weekly schedules.
While focusing on foundational and challenging material, we also offer activities to develop higher order thinking skills, preparing our students to be creative and innovative learners, in a rapidly changing world of technology and global communication.
